Junior Software Engineer – Support & Development

DSi (DS Innovators) · Dhaka
  • Designed and delivered Qwiz, a multi-role question-bank platform with a three-reviewer blind consensus workflow, OAuth-based role management, and an audit-trail-aware PostgreSQL schema.
  • Designed and delivered Event Attendance, an internal real-time attendance system replacing manual tracking – virtual/physical check-in, Excel export, role-based access, mobile-first UI.
  • Contributing to DMS (DSHE), a national-scale education monitoring system – feature development, bug triage on live production, R&D for new modules, and direct database-level issue resolution.
  • Producing advanced database-driven reports (yearly / quarterly / half-yearly; indicator-, subject-, title-wise) for client-specific requirements beyond the system's built-in scope.
  • Acting as support engineer across ODMS, Banbeis and DMS – issue resolution, bug fixing, software testing, advanced reporting, and end-user training.

I started with the LAMP stack in a training role, learned the Laravel ecosystem deeply during an internship at BITM, and have been shipping production software at DSi since late 2023 – moving steadily from feature work to owning whole modules and helping run the support side of nationally deployed systems.
